The NNFOA provides classroom and on the field trainings to all their members, please look over the upcoming training sessions. Any official or prospective official from outside the NNFOA is cordially invited to join us. All sessions will end at 8pm to be respectful of your time. Zoom Off Season Training:


March 16, 2023 @ 7pm Game Preparation / Good Crew Mate by Roscoe Meisenheimer

This Off Season training will give insight on how you go about your week getting ready for that week's game. Roscoe is a long time PAC12 Umpire and has worked the Stars and Stripes football clinic as a mentor; he understands what it takes to get in the right mindset and will take you through a typical game week.

  April 20, 2023  7pm The Kicking Game by Pat White, Aaron Frantz, Mason Perez, and Donald Whitbeck. It has long been known that officiating kicking plays gives officials the most trouble. In this session the unique rules, mechanics, and philosophies of free kicks and scrimmage kicks will be examined to help you better officiate this often problematic but important 1/5th of the game.

May 18, 2023  7pm The Back Judge by Darren Fleck. Darren is an NNFOA Crew Chief, Past President, and one of the best officials in the State of Nevada. This session will cover fundamental mechanics and philosophies of working quite possibly the most difficult position to master in 5 official mechanics.
