Dale Keller is a Down Judge (#9) in the NFL since 2023 with over 20 years of football officiating experience. He started his career with the NNFOA in 2003 working youth and high school football. Over the years, Dale officiated college football in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC), Big Sky Conference, and Pacific-12 Conference (Pac-12).


His postseason assignments include the College Football Playoff National Championship (2020), College Football Playoff Semifinal (2022 - Peach Bowl), Sugar Bowl (2019), PAC-12 Championship Game (2021, 2019, 2017), Music City Bowl (2016), and the Pinstripe Bowl (2015).


Dale is the Deputy Executive Director at the Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County (RTC) with a background of civil engineering. He is a University of Nevada graduate, married to his wife Samantha, they have 3 children and make their home in Reno.


Dale has never forgotten his officiating roots in the NNFOA and is often a guest speaker at the NNFOA preseason clinic. The NNFOA Board is proud to name its annual Rookie of the Year award in his honor.
